Axiom Developer - Director - Software Engineering

We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Axiom developer, in PWM Asia & Australia tech, involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations

This is Director position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you’ll do in the role:

Data source Loading and Report Development, Develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions for regulatory reports using Axiom tool, Axiom scripting language, ETL tools(Talend), Power BI and Power Automate.
Performance Optimization**: Continuously monitor and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Agile & DevOps Implementation**: Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices to enhance team efficiency and accelerate delivery cycles.
Automation & Innovation**: Identify opportunities for automation throughout the data lifecycle and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations using AI.
Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with business, analytics, and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value.

What you’ll bring to the role:

5-8 years of experience in Axiom Development(at least 2 years on version 11 or higher), Regulatory Report enhancement and ETL development.
Knowledge over AI tools, Power Automate and ETL(Talend Enterprise) is added advantage.
Strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance regulatory report solutions.
Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects.
Solid grasp of Agile and DevOps principles with practical experience implementing these in data engineering environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and proven problem-solving abilities.
Experience driving team transformation and process improvement through automation and cloud adoption.
Ability to foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
Prior experience working in fast-paced, data-driven organizations.
