About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the Front-Line Global Privacy and Information Management Office (FLGPIMO) within the Chief Administrative Office. This role will be an integral part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team to promote privacy governance and effective internal risk & control practices for the FLGPIMO and its supporting business lines.

In this role, you will:

Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
Collaborate and consult with members of the team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
Influence, guide and lead less experienced staff within the group
Develop intel and insights to drive compliance and continuous improvement; identify privacy risks; assess, measure, and prioritize risks.
Review regulatory and policy alerts against policy/procedures for impacts, internally monitor policy adherence to assure risks identified are adequately mitigated by control frameworks.
Design solutions to support privacy risk management across the company.
Execute the design, development, implementation, and management of various initiatives related to emerging risks, regulatory change, and policy impacts.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Experience or knowledge of practices related to delivering privacy and data protection or regulatory privacy projects or other similar work.
Experience with at following least some privacy program components and common supporting workflows, including but not limited to:
Privacy risk management (assess, consult, observe, recommend, mitigate, track)
Privacy cookies management (Cookies classification, inventory management, monitoring, testing, certification, ongoing compliance)
Privacy Notice Management (Inventory management, content development, change management, publication, monitoring)
Privacy governance (KPI, KRI, reporting)
Privacy control management and monitoring
Privacy framework design and development
Regulatory monitoring and regulatory change management
Policy, standards, process/procedure, guideline drafting and update
Personal data inventory and information flow mapping
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, law, business, or related discipline from an accredited college/university.
8+ years of related work experience in an in-house privacy team, data privacy consulting or equivalent academic experience with a commensurate advanced degree.
Deep knowledge of key privacy regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and DPDPA.
Proven people skills: demonstrated thorough knowledge and/or a proven track record of success with operating in a banking or a financial organization.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate.
